Harry Styles has teased a clip from his first solo music video.
The 23-year-old singer, who is on hiatus from One Direction, released a snippet of footage from his Sign of the Times video on Saturday (06May17), ahead of the official release on Monday (08May17).
Styles’ debut single, which he unveiled in April (17), marks his first solo effort since the British boyband decided to go on a break last year (16).
Featuring the opening piano chords from the track, the clip focuses on natural landscapes with shots of a waterfall, forests, and Styles ominously rising above it all. It ends with the words “Sign of the Times” written across the screen.
Styles has been busy since taking time out from One Direction, and has not only signed a deal with Columbia Records but also shot his debut acting role as part of Christopher Nolan’s WWII movie Dunkirk, set for release in July (17). And his self-titled album is also about to be released, with the record scheduled to hit shelves on 12 May (17).
The music video teaser comes as Styles’ fans broke ticket sales records on Friday (05May17) by snapping up advanced seats for his upcoming world tour in seconds.
All available tickets for 29 shows dotted around the world were gone in less than a minute.
Styles has also announced 10 shows in Europe and six dates in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Japan, with his tour expected to kick off on 19 September (17) at The Masonic in San Francisco.
